Our Team
The Hinsdale Chapter of the IWS Family Health Auxiliary is comprised of 60 volunteers who are dedicated to fundraising and supporting the Angel Harvey Family Health Center in Chicago. The Hinsdale Chapter was the first Auxiliary Chapter to be formed, in 1913. Each year our signature fundraising event, Tablescapes, raises over $130,000 for the Center. We also support the Center through an annual Coat Drive, Baby Shower and Angel Baby Bags to provide baby essentials, and Mother’s Day toiletry gift bags. We also have a very active Junior Board comprised of 8th-12th graders who also support our fundraising and collection efforts.

About the IWS Family Health/Angel Harvey Family Health Center
Since 1911, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago has offered “a medical home” to Chicago’s women and children. At the time of its founding, IWS provided a safe supply of milk for newborns as the city combated spiraling infant mortality. Today, the Center provides primary medical care, dentistry, optometry, child development, and behavioral health services in a single central location to all ages. Located in Logan Square, this “one-stop-shop” ensures barrier-free access to services and provides a multi-service healthcare home to medically underserved children and their families. About the Auxiliary
Established in 1913, the Auxiliary of the IWS Family Health is a non-profit organization comprised of seven chapters located throughout the Chicagoland area. Our more than 500 members give selflessly of their time and talents raising funds and providing volunteer support for the IWS Family Health (IWS) and the operation of its Angel Harvey Family Health Center (the Center) located at 3600 West Fullerton Avenue in Chicago. Since its inception, the Auxiliary has donated more than $142 million to IWS and is its largest donor year after year.
